Hide your car keys for a while as you slow down and leave your stress behind. Pfelders in the Passeier Valley has been a car-free village since 2007, but in no way has this caused it to lose its charm!
Innovative and Good for the Environment
The innovative concept of not allowing cars in the village means you can enjoy picturesque Pfelders in a stress-free way. Of course, you are allowed to drive to your accommodation, yet you are requested to leave your car there for the duration of your holiday. There is also a large car park at the entrance to the village for you to use, from which you can embark on the many Alpine hikes and summit tours possible in the Texelgruppe Nature Reserve, or you can take the Grünboden Express up the mountain, bringing you in comfort to an altitude of 2000m. Our mountain village is also easily explored on foot.
Stunning Views
Kilometre upon kilometre of hiking paths snake through our stunning region. Soak up the South Tyrolean sun with your family and friends, breathe in the clear mountain air and marvel at the magnificent panoramic views. The fantastic summit backdrop (Texelspitze 3318m, Roteck 3337m, Hohe Weisse 3281m, Hohe Wilde 3481m, Karlesspitze 3462m and Hintere Schwärze 3624m) surrounds the valley like a natural amphitheatre.
